The run-up to your wedding can be a long and frantic marathon, make sure you carve out a little time for yourselves. An afternoon spent wandering around a place that’s special to you both (or just a really pretty beach or woodlands) is a lovely idea. I also conduct home engagement shoots - sometimes you just feel so much more at ease in your own environment. 

An engagement (or “pre-wedding”) shoot can also do wonders for anyone who’s a bit camera-shy. Getting used to being in front of my lens really pays dividends on the wedding day itself: you’ll be so relaxed having your photo taken that it’ll almost feel like the camera isn’t there! Finally, it’s just a really nice way to get to know me before your wedding day. The better we know one another, the better the photos. 

Engagement photography sessions are a grand opportunity to spend a bit of quality time together as a couple ahead of the wedding day.
