Some people prefer a romantic, lacy look and some prefer a little more skin than others, but I’ll work closely with you beforehand to work out exactly the kind of thing you’re going for. My feedback from these shoots is always lovely: I have a knack for setting people at ease and making them feel glorious, which is absolutely essential when curating a fabulous set of boudoir photography images.
It’s so easy to lose sight of ourselves in the general hubbub of daily life: our jobs, our relationships, our families. These can all overwhelm and obscure our sense of self so easily. A few hours of getting back in touch with yourself with a boudoir photography shoot that’s about you (and no one else) can really be the most invigorating thing.

WHAT IS BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHY?
The boudoir photography session is all about you. Any nerves you might be feeling before the day will disappear once your hair and make up is done and you have a glass of bubbles in hand. You look gorgeous! We’ll discuss outfits and which one you feel most comfortable starting with (you don’t have to wear anything you don’t want to, even if you’ve brought it with you) and then we’ll begin the shoot. I’ll follow your lead, capturing your best angles and ensuring you feel your most beautiful throughout. Don’t be surprised at how quickly the session goes (and how fabulous you feel!). Be prepared to leave feeling like Beyonce! Really.
WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED IN THE SHOOT?
- Travel to and from the venue

CAN I BRING A FRIEND/PARTNER?
- No. You will feel totally comfortable with me and it’s better for you to be totally focused on me and how I am directing you to make the most of your session.
- There is no where for a friend/partner to wait.
WHAT IS THE BOUDOIR EXPERIENCE LIKE?
Often known as “boudoir photography” (although that term is a bit too Mills & Boon for me!), boudoir portraits are confidence-boosting, wonderful sessions which both empower and rejuvenate. Yes, they usually involve me photographing you in some manner of undress but we keep things very, very relaxed at all times. Some people prefer a romantic, lacy look and some prefer a little more skin than others, but I’ll work closely with you beforehand to work out exactly the kind of thing you’re going for.
DO I HAVE TO GET NAKED?
No! There is no expectation for you to do anything you don’t want to do - I want you to be as comfortable as possible. During our Zoom call consultation we’ll discuss how bare (or not!) you want to go and the outfits that make you feel your very best. You most definitely do not need to get naked.
HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR THE SHOOT?
Great question! I will walk you through exactly how to prepare and what to bring during our pre-session Zoom consultation.
CAN YOU HIDE MY BLEMISHES/SCARS?
I am very much pro “LOVE YOURSELF” but I am happy to chat with you on the day about anything you might like to try and pose without it on show and if we are unable to do this, we can discuss what I can edit out. Happy to have a discussion about this around permanent and non-permanent blemishes/scars.
WILL MY BOUDOIR SESSION BE PRIVATE?
Absolutely. Garthmyl Hall is exclusively hired for the day so the only people there are you, me, the hair and make up (HMUA) person. There may be a cross over in the make up area with the other client, but when shooting it is just me and you in the room and the HMUA may pop in for touch ups.

Availability
The first 1.5hrs is included, and additional hours can be added. Weekend dates in key wedding season can only be booked within five months.
Investment
