Hello! I’m Laura, a photographer based in Shropshire, capturing natural, relaxed newborn sessions for families across the county and beyond.
I understand how precious these first few weeks are. That quiet rhythm of life at home as you get to know your baby. My approach is calm and unhurried, helping you feel comfortable while I gently capture your baby’s tiny details, sleepy cuddles and family moments that soon feel like a blur.
Every image is taken with care and sensitivity, so you can look back and remember exactly how it felt to hold them in your arms for the first time.

During our newborn photography session, you can stop at any point to feed, change nappies or anything else you or baby need. You don’t have to be in the photos yourself if you don’t want to but I do encourage you to give it a go as you might just love the result. Even if you’re not feeling at your freshest/brightest straight after giving birth, recently becoming a mum gives you the kinda glow that money can’t buy.
This is a really special time, you will want it captured in all its beauty.
We go at baby’s pace and take things nice and easy. I don’t over-pose them as they really are lovely as they are. I just spend a relaxed morning taking some gentle shots of them both asleep and awake. I can work around whatever napping schedule they’ve set for themselves and am always super sensitive with them. The real essence of a newborn photography session is found with baby snoozing at home.
Based in Shropshire, I photograph newborns at home across the country for new parents who want timeless, natural images capturing those early days as they truly are.

The Collection
All-inclusive pricing for at home newborn photography sessions so there's no surprises later. Includes a 1.5 hour photo session, a small preview, an online gallery of your photos to download your high-resolution jpegs.
Availability
Weekday and weekend availability. Please contact me and let me know a few preferred dates.

WHY HAVE A NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION?
A Newborn Baby Session is the perfect way to capture special delicate features so you can cherish all the small, cute newborn things forever because they grow so fast. The best time to photograph newborn babies is between 4 – 10 days new so the gorgeous cosy sleeping poses can be achieved, however some families choose to invite me to photograph them later - some at 8 weeks. It really is up to you. Happy to chat through options.
WHERE DO at home photography SESSIONs TAKE PLACE?
I'm based in Shropshire but take booking for Shrewsbury, Telford, Staffordshire and beyond, offering an understanding and relaxed session in the comfort of your own home. You and your newborn baby will never be rushed and the comfort and safety of baby is always my number one priority. At home sessions are an ideal to time to capture a mix of natural images of baby alone, and lifestyle with siblings, pets and YOU.
WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION?
I take bookings after your 20 week scan all the way to when baby has already arrived. As soon as baby arrives, I ask you to get in touch and we book a convenient date and time for me to visit your home. I have limited spaces per month to account for those babies who decide to arrive a little early or late into the world.
