The trend for intimate and small weddings isn’t going anywhere and, frankly, I think they’re fabulous. Small but perfectly formed wedding occasions with just your absolute favourite people make for lovely, intimate days full of love and with a real focus on romance.
Full-sized weddings are awesome, but small weddings are undeniably charming.

Even if you’re keeping the guest list short, small weddings can be gorgeous, a true reflection of you as a couple and often completely free of peer/family pressure. It’s the kind of occasion that allows you free reign to do exactly as you please.
Small weddings also give you a bit more time for couple portraits (if that’s what you’d like). I think this is really indicative of the whole vibe of small weddings: they realign the focus of the day to the love, companionship, trust and intimacy between you two. They tend to put things like worrying about the table plan, stressing about transport methods and navigating difficult guests in the background. They are, without a doubt, the calmest, most stress-free way to get hitched.
