Baby Portrait Photography Session at Home in Cheshire

I was so excited to be invited to photograph the Moseley family at home in Cheshire for a baby portrait photography session. Baby J’s mum got in touch after seeing my work on social media. After looking through the galleries here on my website she was happy to book – always nice!

Authentic, Natural Baby Photos in your home

Although based in Shropshire, I travel across the UK and love to visit places far and wide to meet new people and families and capture precious memories for them. So heading to Cheshire just before Christmas was no trouble, although the fog that day made for terrible driving conditions!

When I was introduced to the gorgeous boy I knew he was going to be a delight to photograph. He was happy and smiling and not at all shy. He had just woken from a nap so was in the mood for play time with mum and dad.

I love to involve mum and dad in the photo session and get them interacting with baby so when the family view the gallery they see the personality in the images which they see everyday.

“Wow…they are gorgeous thank you so so much, we love them..there were a few watery eyes in the house when we viewed them…”

I used a mixture of natural light and on camera flash for this session, as the daylight was limited due to the heavy fog outside. I think it has made for some lovely warm and natural images, along some shadows (my fave!).

Having photographed hundreds of weddings, I can tell you this: the couples who look the most relaxed aren’t the ones with the “perfect” plan… they’re the ones who aren’t trying to do everything themselves. There are a few tiny jobs that make a massive difference to how smoothly your day runs – and they’re exactly […]
