Beautiful Baby Photos from an at Home Family Portrait

I always enjoy an at home newborn photography session in Shropshire, especially when a new baby has just been welcomed!

I was introduced to this lovely family, via baby’s Grandma! Gran knew a friend of mine and I was recommended and the rest they say, is history! Mum and Dad were totally chilled, and a joy to spend a couple of hours with photographing their lifestyle family portrait in Shropshire.

Home Locations

We moved around the home, using the main bedroom, the nursery and the lounge to create stunning family portraits. I always prep families prior to the session, letting you know how to prepare the home. I understand that a newborn baby in the home can mean you have little time to prepare the home, so I can always help with that when I arrive.

Baby is priority

As I am with you for up to two hours, so it’s absolutely normal for us to take a break and let baby feed. Whether you are breast or bottle feeding this can make for some lovely, personal photos of you bonding with your new baby.

Below is a selection of my favourite images from the portrait session. I like to produce a mix of photos together as a family, Mum with baby, Dad with baby and baby alone. I especially love details; tiny hands, the hair on your baby’s head, small kisses and glances between mum and dad.

I would love to create timeless portraits of your family and newborn baby. Get in touch!

Having photographed hundreds of weddings, I can tell you this: the couples who look the most relaxed aren’t the ones with the “perfect” plan… they’re the ones who aren’t trying to do everything themselves. There are a few tiny jobs that make a massive difference to how smoothly your day runs – and they’re exactly […]
