A small intimate London wedding at Old Marylebone Town Hall

Small wedding at Old Marylebone Town Hall

This lovely small London wedding took place at London’s gorgeous Old Marylebone Town Hall on one of the windiest days in the UK early this month. The bride lost her veil a few times to the wind but she took it all in her stride as I photographed it all!

The gorgeous couple both live and work in London, and wanted a small wedding at Old Marylebone Town Hall with close family and friends flying in from Vietnam and Germany.

The Wedding Ceremony (Pimlico Room)

The emotional wedding ceremony set everyone off when the bride and groom both read personal words to each other in the intimate Pimlico room at Marylebone Town Hall.

Confetti and portraits on the steps

After the ceremony, we took a few minutes to take the all important confetti shot, group portraits and some couple portraits on the historical steps of the Old Marylebone Town Hall before we all grabbed an Uber and headed to The Langham

Old Marylebone Town Hall was gorgeous with the loveliest staff, and a super slick operation with a number of weddings taking place at the same time – not that you would ever have known! The entrance to the Hall is also gorgeous for couple portraits and making the most of the stairs in front for the confetti shot.

The Langham wedding reception and portraits

After a quick change for the bride, we took some time for couple portraits in the stunning The Langham, London. I then stayed and captured the speeches and a toast before leaving the wedding party to continue without me!

I absolutely love photographing weddings in London, it gives me a chance to visit a place I once called home and catch up with old friends.

Are you booking your wedding at The Old Marylebone Town Hall?

As an intimate London wedding photographer, I would love to be at The Old Marylebone Town Hall again, please contact me to chat about your wedding plans! I have a collection especially for shorter coverage weddings which might be suitable for your plans.

More London wedding venues I love:

  • Chelsea Old Town Hall: Perfect if you want iconic steps, a central London feel, and portraits that don’t take you away from your guests for ages.
  • Hackney Town Hall: Brilliant for a small or bigger celebration – loads of atmosphere, great light, and a great selection of rooms for your ceremony or larger celebration.

Having photographed hundreds of weddings, I can tell you this: the couples who look the most relaxed aren’t the ones with the “perfect” plan… they’re the ones who aren’t trying to do everything themselves.
