Relaxed Marquee Shropshire Wedding
Ross & Natalies’s Shropshire Wedding
Natalie and Ross may go down in history as one of my most chilled wedding couples ever! Neither wanted any prep photographed, so I started at the church, just around the corner from their marquee reception in Shropshire, ready to capture ceremony, the reception and party; with Ross telling me that he couldn’t wait for everyone to leave so he could roll around in the left over cheese and port! Need to find out if that actually happened…Ross?
The weather gods played nicely and after a few days of rain we were treated to lovely sunshine on the wedding day!
In keeping with the old English rhyme “something borrowed, something blue” Ross and Natalie has borrowed the field for the reception from their neighbours, and their other friends contributed to the day too with the flowers, the band, the boy’s waistcoats and a super cute waistcoat for Jude the dog too!
Butcher’s Mike and Sarah from Bridgnorth supplied the food and pig roast, and the incredible cake of cheese! Sadly I left before the pig roast was ready but it smelt seriously good.
We were very lucky that the field for the reception was next to a barn converted into homes, and they had a beautiful garden which we were able to use for the couple portraits…and I just absolutely love them! The light with the flowers and these lovely newly weds just made for some gorgeous photos.
The night ended with the DJ and the band playing for the guests and I have to give a shout out to Natalie’s brother who basically made my night with his fab dance moves!!!!
Thanks so much for having me share in your special day guys! Your wedding preview is below! Eek!
