Royal Liver Liverpool Wedding
Winter Wedding in Liverpool
My last wedding photography booking of 2018 took me to Liverpool for the beautiful marriage of Anna and Greg.
They booked me just weeks before the wedding, and everything was organised within weeks – they did such a great job! Anna did mention to me she wished they had hired a wedding co-ordinator to help plan and organise the day. I am going to write a blog on this soon, so keep your eyes peeled!
I travelled to Liverpool on the morning of the wedding and I met Greg, his best men, groomsmen and his guests at the Church in Birkenhead as we waited for the arrival of Anna. Everyone was in great spirits!
Anna and Greg met at university, and have been together since. As part of Anna’s studies she moved to Scotland, not knowing anyone, but built such a strong relationship with her landlord that Anna asked him to walk her down the aisle on her wedding day. Greg’s emotion was clear to see when he saw Anna walk down the aisle in her beautiful white elegant dress and he somehow managed to hold back tears! Anna looked stunning in her long sleeved elegant wedding dress from Mariee; a bridal boutique in Cheshire.
The ceremony was conducted by Greg’s friend who had travelled from London for the occasion. Vows were exchanged and at the end all guests were invited to take communion. Rings were exchanged later at dinner, but I promised not to mention how the groom fogot to take the rings to the church…sshhhh! But all joking aside, Anna took the news in her stride when she arrived at church and you couldn’t hide how much this pair love and admire one other.
Anna has such a natural way with people, she’s so warm and when she talks to you, makes you feel like the only person in the room. Really.
I wish Anna and Greg a wonderful marriage. Thanks so much for having me along to capture it for you.
